The woman behind the Inner Connection Method

Nicole Hickman, creator of the Inner Connection Method

HER STORY

For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by the relationship we have with ourselves: the conversations we have inside, the emotions we carry, and the way we respond when life touches something deeper within us.

In 2018, after a profound personal experience, my life felt completely undone. During that time, I began connecting with a younger, feeling part of myself in a way I never had before.

I didn't try to get rid of what she felt.
I learned to stay with her.

That experience became the beginning of the Inner Connection Method.

HOW THE METHOD GREW

Over the years, through my own practice and thousands of hours working with people, I kept exploring one question: what happens when we stop treating our emotions as something to fix, and start building a relationship with ourselves instead?

The method grew from that exploration. At its heart is a simple idea:

You don't have to fix yourself.
You need to connect with yourself.

TODAY

Today, my work is about sharing this way of understanding ourselves with more people, through mentorship, workshops, my upcoming book and Inner Connection Cards™, and conversations like the upcoming documentary and my interview with Amanda Kloots.

I'm not interested in teaching people how to become perfect versions of themselves. I'm interested in something much more human: learning how to stay connected to yourself, even when something inside you hurts.

Because the relationship you have with yourself is the one you live with every day.

— Nicole Hickman

You don't have to fix yourself before you begin. You simply have to be willing to connect.
